Fryeburg State Show 2004: Sugarloaf genetics prove it again !!
Sugarloaf Dorsets came home with multiple honors from the Fryeburg State show in October 2004. Winners of Grand Champion Ram and Grand Champion Ewe, 1st Flock. Last, but certainly not least, Sugarloaf Dorsets "DownEaster" was awarded Reserve Supreme Champion Ram of the entire show ~ over 600 head - over all breeds.

Congratulations to Alicia Cunningham of Cisco, Texas for winning Supreme Champion Ewe at the 2006 Fort Worth Stock show in Fort Worth TX with her Sugarloaf bred ewe! The champion female was sired by Sugarloaf Dorset's " Tex" and born out of a Sugarloaf ewe purchased from us in Louisville!! Great job, Alicia!
1st Place Slick Sheared Late Fall Ewe Lamb - 2001 National Dorset Show, Louisville, KY. Sired by Sugarloaf Dorsets "Dare To Dream". Our awesome ram "Dare To Dream" also sired the 3rd place Slick Sheared Ewe Lamb, 3rd Place Yearling Ewe Slicked and the 2nd Place Slick Sheared Fall Ram Lamb! What you see is what you get in the slicked classes! These sheep all won big - stripped of their wool!

She went on the be the highest selling sheep over all breeds in the sale at $4500.00 selling to Walnut Lake Farm in Minnesota!
