Sugarloaf Dorsets has added two high powered stud rams over the last year. Take a look at "Park Place's" profile. We have lambs on the ground right now out of this awesome ram from Riverwood Farms. We will be adding pictures of lambs for sale and ones heading to shows over this next season. Be sure to contact us to add some of these beautiful lambs straight off the farm to your flock.

The Sugarloaf Dorset Flock consists of a powerful set of brood ewes; including five National Champion Ewes. Our elite Stud Rams have been named "Sire of the Year" in 1994, 1996 and 1997. In 2001 Sugarloaf Dorsets "Dare To Dream" was the 1st Runner up winner for the "Sire Of The Year"! This prestigious award is given to the one ram that sires the most champions and class winners. (Awarded at the North American International Livestock Exhibition, in Louisville KY).
To date 15 National Championships have derived from the Sugarloaf Dorsets breeding program. For 30 years, we have carefully bred for genetic predictability, structural soundness and heavy muscling with exceptional carcass quality. Our prolific and heavy milking mothers naturally lamb in the fall. One look at their pretty heads tells you why we are known as the home of the pretty ones.
